S8 Gen2 is the 2nd generation ATOTO S8 Android car radio and the Soc applies a 12nm manufacturing process, ARM Cortext Octa-Core processor (higher efficiency, lower consumption, high performance) and the latest ATOTO AICE UI 11.0 (in-depth customization on Android Q). S8 Gen 2 gives satisfaction in various operations. 4 types of Internet access: WiFi / Bluetooth/ USB tethering connection or built-in 4G mobile modem (SIM card not included).
Dual Bluetooth allows S8 to simultaneously enable multiple connections to phone and other BT devices. BT2 supports connection to the BT tethering internet of the phone. BT1 comes with Qualcomm aptX HD codec and supports 24-bit music quality via BT (the phone must also support BT aptX HD codec). Built-in phone integration link supports wired/wireless Android Auto, plus Wired/Wireless CarPlay.
S8 Ultra with ATOTO AC-HD03LR camera (not included) can display HD Virtual Surround-View (VSV) and Live Rear-View (LRV). A special algorithm for merging panoramic images is built in to process images of the AC-HD03LR and rebuild a virtual VSV of almost the same size. LRV allows users to see the rear view when the vehicle is moving forward, removing obstructions from headrests and rear pillars.
Handsgeer sensor provides a cool and easy method to control S8 - Skip tracks, adjust system volume, access other operations. Speed Compensatory Volume Control (SCVC) - Automatically adjusts the system volume of the S8 as vehicle speed changes for road and wind noise. Users can place memorable photos in the specified gallery folder and let them play automatically on the S8's HD screen with a single tap.
S8G2A78UL uses the UDH07D mounting style (universal 2-DIN main unit with 7-inch display), almost all dash kits with a 2-DIN opening are compatible, and with a 2-DIN dash kit applied, you get an integral look. In addition, the ongoing update of the system firmware is available at ATOTO. Get ongoing firmware updates when available to avoid fewer bugs and get new features.
