Transfer gear ratios should be viewed as a "internal finaldrive" it will apply the ratio select equaly to all gears
lets say you select 5'th gear to be 1.000 and transfer to be 1.000 then the total output of the gearbox will be 1.000
If you however have 5'th gear be 1.000 and the transfer being 0.962 your total output will be 0.962
The transfer gearset is also replaceable if you at any point later would like to make the entire gearbox longer og shorter, exactly like if you where to change diffrential
This can also be benneficial as a modifyer to achive the desired final drive if diffrentials are not avaliable for your car in the ratio that you desire
