Corner Weight Adjustment	Height Adjustment	Damping Adjustment
The adjustable lower spring platform of BC Racing coilovers offers the flexibility to fine-tune the vehicle's setup for corner weighting, achieving an optimal balance and maximizing tire efficiency. To enhance performance, it's crucial to distribute equal weight on each tire within an axle. This means ensuring both front tires bear equal loads, as well as both rear tires. This balanced distribution ensures that each tire contributes equally during cornering, leading to improved overall grip, heightened cornering speeds, and reduced lap times. For further customization, optional assister springs are available, allowing for precise adjustment of wheel droop within the unit to meet specific requirements.	The ride height is dictated by the placement of the coilover bottom mount, which can be adjusted by winding it up or down the damper body, providing a comprehensive range of customization. With the ride height being controlled through the adjustable bottom mount rather than the spring platform, you maintain complete damper travel regardless of the chosen ride height setting.	The HM coilovers boast a 30-way damping adjustment that conveniently combines both rebound and compression in a single adjuster for user-friendly simplicity. This adjustable feature empowers you to fine-tune your vehicle to suit specific driving conditions. Refining the handling of the car can be achieved by adjusting the damping settings for both the front and rear. For instance, increasing the damping force on the rear compared to the front will shift the vehicle toward a more oversteer-oriented stance.

Pillowball (Rose Joint) Upper Mount	Camber Adjustment	Corrosion Protection
Many BC Racing Coilovers are equipped with pillowball upper mounts. Constructed from anodized and bead-blasted aluminium alloy, these mounts offer a durable, high-quality finish. The Japanese-made pillowballs eliminate any flex or play typically found in standard rubber mounts, resulting in sharper handling response and overall suspension performance.	If your vehicle allows for camber adjustment, BC Racing coilovers automatically include camber-adjustable aluminium pillowball top mounts. These use the same high-quality Japanese pillowball but add the ability to fine-tune camber for road, track, or drift setups, enhancing alignment flexibility and vehicle setup.	The damper bodies are made from black-chromed steel for exceptional durability, even in harsh winter conditions. Aluminium parts such as top mounts and locking collars are anodized, while steel lower mounts receive an electrophoretic coating followed by powder coating. A monthly salt spray test is conducted on random components (like brackets and screws) to ensure maximum corrosion resistance.

Patented Concave Lower Locking Collar	High Quality Coil Springs	High Quality Oil
Coilovers use a locking collar to prevent the bottom mount from loosening. If it does, the damper body can slip downward into the bottom mount, reducing ride height on that corner—leading to dangerous handling. This is a common issue across coilover systems. BC Racing solves it with a patented concave lower locking collar featuring a beveled edge that seats into a corresponding bevel in the bottom mount, increasing surface contact and preventing the collar from working loose.	BC Racing coilovers are fitted with springs made from SAE9254 high-strength, cold-wound steel. These springs are rigorously compression tested through over 500,000 cycles and show less than 5% deformation—ensuring exceptional strength, consistency, and long service life under demanding use.	Only high-quality oil is used in BC Racing dampers to ensure consistent damping performance both immediately and over time. This oil resists degradation under heavy use, maximizing the lifespan of the dampers. Combined with a precision-engineered shim stack, the system maintains consistent rebound and compression control, even in extreme conditions.

Nitrogen Pressurised Dampers	Bearing Mounted Upper Spring Platform	Optional Upgrades
Under intense use like track days or rough high-speed roads, dampers can suffer from oil aeration and cavitation, causing foaming that reduces oil viscosity and damping efficiency. BC Racing addresses this by pressurizing the dampers with nitrogen, which applies constant pressure to a floating piston. This prevents aeration, improves damping consistency, and adds a small amount of effective spring rate for enhanced performance.	During spring compression, twisting causes tension between the spring and its seats. This can lead to binding, wear, and even loosening of the spring platform and locking collars—resulting in ride height issues or dislocated springs at full extension. It also increases friction in the steering system, since the spring rotates with the wheels. BC Racing’s bearing-mounted upper spring platform eliminates this stiction, improving steering feel and overall suspension function.	Damper adjusting extenders: Easily access rear adjusters without removing trim—available in 110mm, 200mm, and 250mm. Assister spring perch: Add droop travel or tweak ride feel using smaller secondary springs in various spring rates. Pillowball top mount upgrade: Swap out rubber top mounts for pillowballs to eliminate flex and gain sharper handling—ideal for aggressive street or track use.
