Ring Tongue Terminal, M6, 1/4", 16 AWG, 1.4 mm²
The Ring Tongue Terminal and Splice series is specifically designed for copper and aluminum magnet wire. These terminals feature insulation displacement technology, eliminating the need for a separate pre-stripping operation. The unique wire barrel design, with serrations and burrs, ensures a strong metal-to-metal compression crimp with excellent tensile strength.
A variety of splices are available, including ring tongue and quick-connect terminals. Each barrel can terminate up to three magnet wires simultaneously, accommodating copper, aluminum, or a combination of both. Additionally, magnet wire can be paired with pre-stripped solid or stranded lead wires when necessary.
To meet different application needs, splices come in 5, 7, and 9 serration versions, as well as miniature and subminiature designs for terminations in the 400 to 1600 CMA range. This design ensures a high-quality electrical connection, free from contaminants such as stripper residue and solder flux.
