The anodized aluminum catch can bracket mounts to the RH hood latch. COMPATIBILITY05-07 Corvette (LS2)06-13 Corvette Z06 (LS7)08-13 Corvette (LS3)09-13 Corvette ZR1 (LS9)10-13 Corvette GS (Wet Sump LS3)10-13 Corvette GS (Dry Sump LS3)2013 Corvette 427 (LS7)To retain factory functionality, the CCV catch can runs inline between the crankcase vent (CCV) port and the intake pipe. At low loads, this catch can experiences atmospheric pressure. However, when the engine is at high load (WOT), these vents will experience high flow out of the crankcase. This would normally lead to oil and sludge accumulation in the air filter intake pipe. This catch can kit is compatible with the dry sump LS3, LS7, and LS9. As shown below, the crankcase vent comes from the reservoir on these engines.This catch can kit is also compatible with the standard wet sump LS2 and LS3.
